After a migration to new ds8k using the cascading with GM, under z/Os v2r2, the client is seeing an incoherent response in macro ANTRQST & ANTPQMAP(PMS 67378,662,706). A PMH has been openned on DS8000, and it pointed out that this incoherent response is due to the Cascading bit which still set to 1. Action plan from lab is to stop and restart the GM replication but it's extremely difficult to find a maintenance window on client production.
It was ask to L3 to see if it was possible to set that cascading bit to 0 without stopping/restarting the GM replication thru special CLI command issued by support or thru a script, but it looks like it's not possible.
the client is asking an enhancement to the product by allowing to change cascadibg bit without stopping the GM Replication
