PCIE hardware - Allowing RCL to continue, rather than halt to perform repair (fail drive/replacement) before continuing.

This would benefit tremendously as a failure then requires coordination and scheduling to complete, which usually puts us outside our scheduled maintenance window with the potential of not getting another window at that time.

Brian Rinaldi: Rejected. A PCIe hardware event that results in a component being taken off line, must result in the code load suspending, Continuing with the code load, could result in a loss of access to data, impacting operations. A transient PCIe hardware, should also result in suspending the code load to determine if it a result if the code load its self. Failure to do so, could result in a loss of access to data, impacting operations.
