FlashDrive - Allowing RCL to continue, rather than halt to perform repair (fail drive/replacement) before continuing.

This would benefit tremendously as a failure then requires coordination and scheduling to complete, which usually puts us outside our scheduled maintenance window with the potential of not getting another window at that time.

? Per the current code activate design, overall system state will be verified once prior to code activation on the partitions and again before storage enclosure firmware update. If any issues are detected, code activation will be suspended. Per DS8K development's analysis, storage enclosure firmware update was suspended because the system healthcheck detected the failed flash drive.

? Allowing back-end devices firmware update with a failed drive can lead into unexpected situations including potential loss of access or data loss situation.
? DS8K can handle back-end devices running with down-level firmware for a period if the partition and device adapter firmware is up to date.

Based on development review, recommend rejecting this RFE.
