DS8K Should Be Intelligent Enough to Compare Source and Target Data for Remote Copies

When a relationship between a source and target system is accidentally lost, the DS8K must re-copy all the data. Instead the DS8K should be able to compare the source and target data so that only changed data or missing structures are copied. This would significantly reduce the time required to resync data once a base copy was created. This would also be useful for migration cases, where equipment is placed locally for a copy and then shipped to a remote location and re-synced over IP etc.,

    RFE rejected. Based on what we have in the roadmap, it is not something that can be delivered given current priorities and plans.
