Improve DS8000 Host Adapter architecture to provide greater performance over larger fiber distance (RTT 50ms)

It has been found that over a fiber distance of 50ms RTT, the 32G Host Adapter provides a maximum throughput of 500 MB/s if 1 PPRC port is utilized on the HA. The PPRC port was connected to a 32G port on the Director which in turn had a 128G tunnel to the remote site, the remote site was a similar configuration. It was noted that if a second port was utilized on the same HA, there was a slight (10-12%) degradation in performance i.e. with two ports, 430-450 MB/s per port was achieved. This request is to review the architecture of the Host Adapter to enhance its throughput capability over larger distance.
