Externalise DS8000 Internal Traces

System: DS8000
Actor: Customers
Description: It is about to enhance DS8000's backend monitoring by externalizing DS8000 internal traces/counters. The current practice that is to collect On-Demand Dump and to involve IBM SME for analysis, takes too much time and efforts.

Spectrum Control provides client consumable performance statistics down to the 1 minute level including arrays utilisation statistics provided from the DS8000. If there are additional performance metrics required they would be provided by Spectrum Control not by externalising internal DS8000 traces.
