CSM Incremental Flashcopy Options

Global Mirror Either Direction w/ Two Site Practice.

We have the incremental option switched on in the session properties for 'H1-I1 and H2-I2 Options'.
This is to allow us to take a daily flashcopy to the H2 volumes at the remote site. A full background copy takes over 12 hours, so this affects our ability to test Failover/Failback in a reasonable window.

Because the Incremental option creates a persistent Flashcopy between I1-H1 as well, we are unable to run dataset Flashcopy sessions (via DFDSS) to our primary GM volumes (H1).
Also if we initialize any H1 volumes they go into error status in H1-I1. see TS006421838.

Will consider the request, however, you can always change the property when you reverse the direction of the session, so that when running in the opposite direction it doesn't do the incremental flash. I think most customers that run a two site solution like this like to run exactly the same way, so my concern would be that if we split the property, now the majority of the customers would have to know to set it in both directions.
