CSM for z/OS - Active/Standby on different storage systems

We installed the standby CSM server on remote site on a different sysplex with different storage systems. All storage connections from the active CSM were synchronized to the standby CSM server. But the standby CSM server has no access to the storage box which is seen via the z/OS native connection from the active CSM server. This causes in a connection failure for the standby CSM server indicated by a warning sign in the WebGui. The standby CSM Server is not able to see the storage connection via its native z/OS connection. This is of course logical and expected but the standby CSM is inidicating an error for the z/OS native storage connection.
As mentioned in case TS002524492 this behavior works as designed.
We also add an IP connection from standby to the HSIB and also to HMC. This allows us to manage all devices from standby CSM server as well without the need of the native z/OS connection.

A good solution for us would be to disable the native z/OS connection with an option in rmserver.properties. With the IP connections we do not need the native z/OS connection anymore.
Also hiding the connection error would be a solution.
