IBM CSM LDAP Configuration to Improve Handling of Recursive Search Directive

Many companies today utilize nested LDAP groups for privileges, which configuration today is only possible to support in CSM by manually adding the "recursiveSearch=true" directive into the XML in the Advanced tab of LDAP Configuration. If any information on the Basic tab is ever changed, for example if one is doing a password rotation on the bind account and just need to update the password there, that will remove any extra configuration added into the Advanced XML configuration which then will break LDAP access for companies that rely on nested groups.

I would request that the Basic tab have a checkbox for Recursive Search that can be selected during Basic configuration, and will retain its value.

I would also suggest that if advanced configuration directives have been added, that simple updates on the Basic tab such as username/password shouldn't overwrite them.

There are a lot of CSM configuration settings today which are only accessible via editing XML or properties files, and it would be a good trend I believe to start exposing more of those to the customer through the main UX.
