Need a msg issued to z/OS when the SGC backup completes either successfully or unsuccessfully so we can trap it via automation.

We run a SGC scheduled task every hour. We need to be able to get notified via z/OS automation when a SGC backup completes either successfully or unsuccessfully. More importantly we need to build automation informing us when a SGC backup has not been run for any reason. The CSM msg for completion is shown below:

    There are multiple ways I think that this can already be accomplished.

    If CSM is running on a z/OS system, you can setup CSM messages to go to the z console.

    If CSM is not running on a z/OS system, in theory, a remote syslog listener can be setup on z so that you can setup CSM to pipe it's message to that remote syslog which will then be picked up on the z side. I know this is has been done for 8k which has a similar remote syslog solution.
