Run csmcli via scheduled task without external server.

I want to get CSM/DS8000 logs when CSM task failed.

Problem here is that the ESSNI logs for both CSM/DS8000 fills up so quickly.

We have an option in CSM task to save it which is "Create a PE package if error occurs running the task". This will save timely ESSNI logs of CSM.

I want to do same thing for DS8000. However, if we want to run "mkdevicedump -type saveuilogs DS8000" when CSM task failed, there is no way to do it without external server. If the CSM is installed into Linux/AIX/Windows, we can use the Server/PC but we have to login to the OS with UI/PW which is managed by the OS to issue csmcli commands by scripting. (UI/PW management required)

If it was DS8000 HMC embedded CSM, we can not login to the HMC through SSH, threfore we need an external Server/PC to do it as of now.

My point here is the csmcli is always installed with the CSM. Why don't we add ability to issue an internal csmcli command through CSM task menu?

My idea is add "Type:Run CSMCLI command" in "Add Action:What action will the task perform" at Sheduled Task menu.

Thank you.
