for export/import have the process fail if there is no node defined on the receiving system. At the very least have a message saying the process failed because no node was defined on the receiving system.

Please add some kind of reporting

Please expose the reporting in Data Protection for SQL Server. In the new management console there is a report named "Data Protection Activity Report". We would like to be able to gather the success/failures externally.

implement SQL backup COPY_ONLY

The SQL has the option to create a full DB Backup that does not interfere with the normal backup full, diff, log chain with the COPY-ONLY parameter.

I would like to know if there is a simple TSM reporting tool that could email me a summary of the nightly backups.

I would like a simple reporting tool that would email me a daily report of backup schedules, which were successful and which were not, number of scratch tapes available and what items failed to backup.
