Too long time to start &terminate TSM Server after DB backup

TSM should provide a couple options of DB2 logging mode to avoid a waste of time to wait for expanding a truncated log. e.g. DB2 LOGRETAIN, smaller log size less than 512MB and so on.

Support Directory Direct-Access-Restore for NDMP

TSM supports Direct Access Restore (DAR) for individual files restored from a NAS filer with NDMP. However, it would speed up restores (and make them much more userfriendly) if Directory Direct Access Restore (DDAR) was supported also.
