possibility to add clients by nodegroup to copy storage subrule

Currently you can only add single clients to a copy storage subrule . It would be comfortable to also have the possibility to add clients by nodegroup as an additional choice - like you can do with "def retrule".

It could be nice to have an option like maxsessionspernode in replicate node

The maxsession option in replicate node is for all node (when using with a nodegroup). So when a run a "replicate node maxsession=20" it could have up to 20 sessions for the last node, so it could have up to 20 filling volumes in the distant node....
