Spectrum Protect PLUS support RedHat v6.4

Important Telco company (Vodefaone) need to support RedHat v6.4 with Spectrum Protect PLUS.They have some internal applications and it's impossible to upgrade RH version.The objective it's to protect (with SPP) Oracle 11g.

Changing the mnt directory from root to dedicated file system

If we have a dedicated filesystem, it won't affect the space on root file system on Production servers. In our environment only, we faced the situation like the root file system is full due to this /mnt/spp/vsnapx/fspooly/ directory.

Have the ability to choose the backup node in oracle

Spectrum protect plus does not currently have the ability to choose the preferred node for backups in the case of oracles like in the exchange for example, and we have this in question for some customers, who do not want to change in oracle

TSM repository server is not supported as catalog backup target for SPP+ (enable catalog backup to repository server)

Using the SPP+ gui you can select a TSM repository server as a target for catalog backup for SPP+. I have opened a call with IBM support (TS013178083) because at 10.1.14-217 release at least of SPP+ no matter how you configure the TSM S3 repositor...

Add confirmation question for restart in Administrative Console - System Management

If accidently clicking on the "Restart IBM Spectrum Proctect Plus" it will happen instantly. I think it would be better with a confirmation here instead of using "hot" buttons.

Spectrum Protect Plus support for TLS1.2 for VMware v6.0

Currently, TLS1.2 is supported for vSphere6.5+. Request for TLS1.2 support for VMware vSphere v6.0 for SPP v10.1.1.

SPP Enhanced VMs view. Colomns sorting.

Enhanced the view of the VMs. Sorting by columns. Adding colums in the view so we can see options selected per VMS. Options per VMs in a reports also.

RFE: Simplify management in allowing native user to cahnge their own password.

Any native user that is able to login into SPP should be able to set/change their own password regardless of the resource groups and roles assigned to them

SPP PLUS: ENHANCE SPP TO UPDATE VM GUID INTO AN EXISTING BACKUP

-Enhance SPP plus to be able to update VM GUID into an existing backup.- An option that updates the globally unique identifier (GUID) for the virtual machine that are being backed up.
