It should be possible to stream the Spectrum Protect Plus audit log to a central collector, much like Syslog. At the moment it's only possible to download the audit log (or parts of it) using HTTP or the REST API.

Support for KVM

We see more and more activity where people are leaving VMware for something that are better and cheaper. So we see more offend companies that want to replace VMware with KVM/oVirt so they can combine it with Openstack or similar automated hypervisor.

IBM Spectrum Protect PlusOracle Agentless COLD Backups Current versions of IBM SPP only support Hot backups. Our customer has all they Development environment with Oracle in non Archive log mode. Causing SPP not a viable option to implement backups.

Do not trigger a new base backup if the site associated with the SLA policy is changed

Currently if you alter the target site in an SLA policy it will trigger a new base backup. This behaviour should be adjusted so that by default it does not trigger a new base backup.
